Just prior to the Hill 75 raid and a mixed fate befell this group. Lad on left with pipe (Poppa Jacobs) was wounded and captured, spent 12 months as a POW. Lad at rear was killed a few weeks after this photo was taken. The one on the right was mortally wounded and has "No known grave". He fought and fell on Cloncurry feature, 9 months after this picture was taken
