We walked our gear and the boss got a lift most of the way in a jeep. The gear getting a lift conserved our energy for the business at hand later. The boss getting a lift conserved his energy so he could hopefully think straight when needed.

Note thelad at rear right of group, he is obviously having a last nervous piddleagainst the bank. Always a good idea as taking a leak on patrol wasn't thesmartest thing to do, unless you did it quietly in your pants. (which manynew boys did.)
