This Chinese photograph from the Korean War Museum in Beijing states that these are Army officers who had been fleeing from attacking CCF forces during the UN withdrawal after our advanced forces had been defeated during the CCF 1st Phase Campaign.

On your web page ... above the heading "In the West" which shows two U.S. prisoners with hands raised. I recognize this as a small excerpt from a photo of men of B Company, 2nd Chemical Mortar Battalion, which was overrun on 2 November 1950. I'm on the Board of directors of the veterans association of this unit and have a multi-generation photocopy of this picture but nothing that is a good image.
